I've been wracking my brain attempting to do some research on the controversial topic of the meaning of Christ's word in Matthew (eli eli lama sabachthani). My wife and I have been having a spirited debate with her falling on the side of the true meaning coming from the Lamsa Bible stating "for this I was kept.".
